Take a look at the simple, everyday snail. In the scheme of things, it has little or no impact on the world. It seems to be the ultimately simple and unexciting specimen. However, if we look closer, we see that God has equipped even one of the least meaningful creatures with the right organs and adaptations necessary for its survival. We look closer at the cellular level, we find that it is made up of very tiny, exact cells in which are organelles that work hard to keep this creature functioning properly. Yet, even at a more detailed, molecular perspective we see that each tiny molecule is made up of the proper materials to maintain it well being. With this in mind we once again note that this creature, like all men, is not necessary for God's happiness. We see all the trouble that God has gone through to ensure the well being of this lowly snail. This animal doesn't posses an eternal soul and still God loves it. Therefore we can't begin to fathom the love that God has for men, who may one day share in the eternal happiness of Heaven.
