A Catholic School Christmas

At IHM School the Christmas season is celebrated in true Catholic School spirit!

The festivities of the month of December begin with the feast of Saint Nicholas on December 6th, and a magical visit from the great Saint himself! Then the month is filled with music and practices for the big pageant! This year the evening of the Christmas Program brought the elementary grades to the stage with a new twist on the Little Drummer Boy story… and then there were carols from the new IHM Choir, thanks to Mr. Olbash and his new choristers! The show had a slam bang finish with the IHM Band performing their Christmas Concert and really filling MacIsaac Hall with music!

Before Christmas break, the classes dress in festive colors and enjoy class parties and gift exchanges. Every classroom has a Nativity scene… and every heart has a manger ready to receive the Infant King!

Enjoy the photos below! …and check out the video of Saint Nicholas' 2016 Visit!
