Bazaar Memories 2011

In October the quiet New England village of Still River is a breathtaking sight of gold, orange and red trees, fields dotted with pumpkins and apple orchards laden with fruit. But the quiet is broken on Columbus day weekend when IHM has it annual fund-raising bazaar.

Because of the construction this year, the location of this event was moved to the field behind the Brothers House… but no one was thrown off course!

Two huge tents provided a festive touch to the giant yard sale, food booths and games. It was a glorious day with the sun, music, and children laughing.

And it was a successful day too, bringing more financial help to the building fund for the gym across the street which is now visible as you drive down Route 110.

God bless all who spent many hours preparing for this event and may Our Lady reward you abundantly.
